Wednesday night's soccer game at McCown Field was not for the faint of heart. The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles (3-5-1, 1-2-1 SAC) played a solid match in what turned out to be a no score draw against conference rival LMU (4-4-2, 1-1-1 SAC).

The Lady Eagles fought hard for 110 minutes of play, with two overtimes. But as time expired during the final minutes neither team was able to score a goal and come away the victor.

Sarah Taylor led CN in shots with 8 while keeper Kayla Hanson racked up 5 saves.  For LMU, Trenna Howell was the team leader with 8 shots.

The next Lady Eagle soccer match is October 8th at Catawba, while the next home match will be October 15th against Wingate.
