EPC starts Homecoming Week with kickoff

The Eagle Production Company held the first Kickoff Ceremony for Homecoming in the Lounge of the Maddox Students Activities Center (MSAC) on Monday, October 8. Students were welcomed by the smell of root beer and coke floats and the sounds of the band Rev. 7. In between songs, homecoming candidates were announced and voting for king and queen officially began.
This year's candidates for Homecoming Queen are Alisha Watson, Mary Buck, Jade Mouron, and Maddie Moore. Tyler Pace, Chase Smith, Matt Cheney, and Barrett Hedges are this year's King candidates.
The junior court consists of Kelly Ferguson from Odenton, MD, Meredith Cox from Oak Ridge, TN, Jessica Deason from Nolensville, TN, Chris Wooden from Hermitage, TN, Kyle Dobyns from Asheville, NC, and Adam Baumgartner from Holbrook, NY.
The sophomore representatives are Elizabeth Cook from Charlotte, NC, Brittany Allen from Dickson, TN, Tyler Mills from Ringgold, GA, and Andrew Glibbery from Powell, TN. Finishing off the homecoming court are freshmen Andy Pearey and Amber Adams.
The winners of king and queen will be announced at halftime during the Homecoming ceremony at the football game against Catawba on Saturday, Oct. 13. Kick-off for the game is scheduled for 3 p.m.Homecoming Queen Candidates:
