Dr. Naomi Larsen
Dr. Larsen, the new Assistant Provost, grew up in Minnesota. The main reason she decided to take a position at this college is because of the heavy emphasis on service learning at C-N, such as through the Bonners Program and Appalachian Outreach. The retention of students is one of her primary goals. "We want to help all of our students to be successful. We want them to be and grow in the direction that God would have them to grow. Each student is unique and has their own gifts and talents, and we want to discover those gifts and talents and nurture them," said Dr. Larsen. She enjoys the outdoors and physical fitness, and loves to go hiking in this Appalachian area.
Dr. Paul Martino
Dr. Martino not only teaches several classes, such as Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, but he is also actively involved in structural biology research.
