Hold on tight in the roller coaster of life

Life is like a roller coaster; it has its ups and downs. Sometimes you cannot see the light at the end of a dark tunnel and you wonder when the nightmare is going to end. But no matter how scared it makes us, we grit our teeth and hold on for dear life and in the end, we learn from it (in the case of roller coasters, often not to eat chili cheese dogs beforehand) and often, enjoy the ride.

Some of you may remember when I shared the special story of my neighbor and 7 year-old friend, Hannah Kate. For those of you that do not, Hannah had just been through surgery to remove a brain tumor and was awaiting her pathology report. We were all hopeful that God was going answer our prayers with a benign report, but He had other plans.
